MAC Cosmetics, stylized as M·A·C, is a cosmetics manufacturer.
The company is headquartered in New York City and became part of the Estée Lauder Companies in 1998.
I was brought in to re-design the UX and UI of homepage and SPP and stayed on board to work on multiple 360 Digital Campaigns.
Traffic on e-commerce is around 80% Mobile. We always have (tried) to have a mobile 1st approach.
While re-designing the site I decided to come with a new approach for the main product pictures.
Single Product Pages got +20BPS conversion rate increase and +17% engagement lift post-launch.
While redesigning the SPP we thought about a new way of seeing the Multiple
product category page (MPP), what other brands call it Category page.
The idea was to showcase the possibility to browse either by-product like on all websites or
by seeing it already applied on the face in that case for lipstick on lips.
We also leverage our evergreen shots to showcase the diversity and different skin tones
